VIDIZMO allows you to create multiple-page Quiz for your audience to evaluate how well do they grasp the gist of the media they have interacted with/watched, and better engage them with your content. VIDIZMO Quiz creation and playback is designed and structured to cater to various business use-cases and organizational requirements.
Quiz feature can be split into three major constitutes:
A basic Quiz consists of the questions you have added along with user-defined scores, and a smooth flow to ensure a friendly user experience. Based on a Quiz's access policies, it can be attempted anytime from the portal using a shareable link, and can also be shared via email to your targeted audience or with specific users and groups within VIDIZMO.
A Page is a way to segregate questions in a Quiz into relevant sections that have their descriptions and time-limits to be completed. Pages help organize quizzes in a more effective manner giving an option to the designer/creator to gradually increase difficulty level of the questions, or to go from preliminary questions to more detailed concept-oriented ones.
Each page has its own settings such as order of questions, title, description.
A Quiz can have three most common type of questions:
- Single-Choice Questions
As the name itself suggests, these are close-ended single-choice questions, where the candidate/participant has to select one correct answer to the question. They are most commonly-used quiz questions to evaluate the level of expertise of a candidate on a particular technology or concept since every question has a solid factual answer to measure learnedness against. - Multiple-Choice Questions
These are a little trickier than the previous two since the answers are more circumstantial and intuitive than based on factual reasoning. These questions offer the idea that the answer may or may not be multiple from a given list of choices, which makes it harder to choose from a fairly interrelated list of options. Such questions could be as follows:

- Descriptive Questions
Lastly, we have open-ended questions that can be used to take a user's feedback on the quality of the questions presented in the quiz, the level of difficulty, the coherence to the curriculum, or general conceptual analysis of a product feature. However it may be used, it serves a crucial purpose in gaining valuable insights into what the reader/viewer has to say about your content. Quiz in a Collection
VIDIZMO allows additional support of grouping your content together into Collection. Here, you can group together any media in your portal (images, documents, videos) in a logical sequence for the viewers' ease.
This means you are not forcing them to take a quiz after watching a video, but suggesting them that taking one could help them self-analyze their progress and what they have learned from the content they have just browsed.
This is similar to creating a mini-course with relevant content in defined order, but with no restrictions and the ease of moving forward at one's own pace.
Quiz in a Learning Plan
Personal Learning Plans are a unique VIDIZMO feature to help individual users plan their own course, go about their own schedule to accomplish learning objectives and achieve a certain goal by completing video tutorials/training sessions as targeted.
For an objective assessment of their own progress and whether they are ready to advance to more technical workshop sessions, Quizzes come in handy to be included at the end, or middle of the plans. This way they can keep a track of their score and aim to improve performance with a certain objectivity.
Creating a Quiz has never been easier given the intuitive quiz design process offered by VIDIZMO. It allows you to drag and drop any type of questions to your quiz you want while enjoying your morning caffeine.

A few easy steps to get you started with creating a basic quiz would be:
- Drag and drop questions to your Quiz.
- Devise questions and choose correct answers to them.
- Set scores to your questions.
Tada! You are ready to publish it. Your users can take a Quiz anytime anywhere given they have the credentials/rights to. A Quiz having Anonymous access rights can be shared via a link as well. However, it is advisable to share it with specific users/groups within VIDIZMO to keep a track of the responses and generate a more meaningful assessment report to gain insights into participants' objective learning. A Quiz playback screen would typically look like the one showed above.
VIDIZMO provides the ability of retaking the quiz to those users who have failed it i.e. their marks obtained are less than the passing criteria.
Note: There is no restriction on the number of Quiz attempts that a user is allowed to take. However, every attempt is registered and is accounted for in the assessment reports.

There are three valuable perspectives to VIDIZMO assessment reports that help Quiz Designers get a detailed insight into users' combined performance as well as into how well the quiz was designed on the basis of structure and difficulty:
- Assessment Summary Report
A summarized quiz report will contain accumulated statistics to give you an overview of how many attempts were made, the count of users who attempted the quiz, average score, along with an overview of how every question in the quiz was attempted and what was the score of every attempt that was made. - Quiz Attempt Drill-down Report

- Individual Question Drill-down Report
The most interesting kind is a drilled down report of how each individual question was attempted. This gives a unique understanding into the difficulty level of the question and a clear categorization of how some users/candidates outperformed others by attempting the most difficult question correctly, so on and so forth.
