What's New
Spoken PII Detection and Redaction in VIDIZMO
Now, when you upload your audio or video files, our super-smart system goes to work, playing detective to spot those Personally Identifiable Information (PII) – names, addresses, SSNs, phone numbers, you name it!
The magic happens when the system detects speech and extracts any PII from predefined categories within the content. Once spotted, your sensitive information is automatically redacted, ensuring your data privacy is top-notch.
But wait, there's more! If your media file includes transcribed content, our system is on it. It'll detect and redact PII information within the media playback and its transcription when you upload it to the VIDIZMO portal. Talk about next-level data protection!

Smart Encoding
Introducing a super-smart upgrade in VIDIZMO's latest release: "Smart Encoding"! In VIDIZMO, just hit the "Smart Encoding" switch. It's like summoning your secret weapon! this feature makes your encoder clever by focusing only on media that can't be played directly in a web browser. Here's the deal: it identifies video and audio formats that browsers handle like a pro, so there's no need for unnecessary transcoding. The result? Faster encoding and less storage. Simple, efficient, and a real time-saver!

Bug Fixes
- The "All" filter became a fan of hide-and-seek game and mysteriously vanished. We've tracked it down and brought back the "All" filter to Media Analytics reports! No more hiding, just smooth sailing through your data.
- We've waved our bug-fixing wand to ensure you can now effortlessly include quizzes exactly where you want them in your videos at specific times. Enjoy a smoother quizzing experience!
- We've been working behind the scenes and the result? We've squashed that bug where the Video Indexer activity used to throw exceptions when VIDIZMO and Azure Indexer were running in parallel during a media file upload. Have a glitch-free experience!
- Folder Mystery Solved! We've cracked the case of an irritating bug that used to hide your media file searches when they were inside a folder. Now, your search results will deliver spot-on results.
- Studio Users, Rejoice! The Confidence Threshold Icon is now Active. We've tackled a bug where, in Studio Space, the confidence threshold icon would mysteriously disable when updating redaction types in the configuration pane after selecting all detected objects.
- We've resolved an issue on the Playback page where 360-quality videos yielded less-than-stellar results. You can enjoy your videos in all their glory without quality glitches.
