Which helps the prosecution and defense with easily accessible, searchable, processed, and shareable evidence from anywhere, anytime.

 

Here is a guide to use Thomson Reuters Case Center app in VIDIZMO:

 

Before you start

  • You must integrate Thomson Reuters Case Center app in VIDIZMO.
  • Thomson Reuters Case Center app must be enabled.

Thomson Reuters Case Center App Configurations

From the Portal settings go to integration apps, enable the Thomson Reuters Case Center app by toggle option.

Once Thomson Reuters Case Center app is enabled then we can perform multiple actions mentioned below from VIDIZMO application to Thomson Reuters Case Center.

 

  • Link VIDIZMO Case with Thomson Reuters Case Center Case
  • Create a new Case in Thomson Reuters Case Center
  • Create a new Section in Thomson Reuters Case Center
  • Upload evidence from VIDIZMO to Thomson Reuters Case Center

 

Link Case to Case Center

 

When Thomson Reuters Case Center App is enabled in VIDIZMO portal settings then we can link a VIDIZMO Case with Case Center Case. Follow the steps to link the case.

 

  1. Go to Evidence Library in VIDIZMO
  2. Click on Case options Icon next to Case Title
  3. You will see a drop-down list with multiple case settings options.
  4. Click on Link with Case Center option.



When user click on Link with Case Center then Thomson Reuter Case Center App load all the existing cases in Case Center. User can perform following actions on the App screen.

    

    5. View the List of All Cases in Thomson Reuter Case Center

    6. Filter the Case – User can Filter the case on following filters.

        a. Case Name

        b. Case Hearing Date Range

        c. Search though all words within case

        d. Show training Cases.

        e. Show Closed Cases

    7. Click on Apply to filter the cases.

    8. If user wants to create a new case in Case Center, then Click on Create New Case button.



    9. From the Create New Case: 

a. A Modal open to get following Case Information

b. Case Title

c. Case Type

d. Case Template

e. After filling the Case Information click on Create Case



From the Link the Case: 

Once Case is created, Case list from Thomson Reuters Case Center open with the newly added case as well.

    10. Just click on Radio button next to case name you want to link.

    11. Click on Link and Close.



    12. Once User click on Link and Close App window closed and take the user back to Evidence library.

    13. In the case list, a tag will appear on linked case “Linked with Case Center.”



    14. Once user open the case then in case details screen tag appear “Linked with Case Center – Case Name.”



Send Evidence to Case Center

When Thomson Reuters Case Center App is enabled in VIDIZMO portal settings and VIDIZMO Case is linked with Case Center Case then we can send evidence from VIDIZMO to Case Center. Follow the steps to send the evidence to Case Center.

 

  1. Go to Evidence Library in VIDIZMO
  2. Click on Case to go to Case Detail Page. 



From the Case Detail: 

3. Click on evidence options Icon next to evidence title

4. You will see a drop-down list with multiple settings options.

5. Click on Send to Case Center option.



When user click on Send to Case Center then Thomson Reuters Case Center App load all the existing sections in liked case. User can perform following actions on the App screen.

 

    6. View the List of All Sections in linked Case.

    7. Create New Section



8. From the Create New Section: 

    A Modal open to get following Section Information

        a. Section Number/Letter

        b. Section Title

        c. After filling the Section Information click on Create Section



Once Section is created, Section list from Thomson Reuters Case Center open with the newly added section as well.

9. Just click on Radio button next to section name you want to send evidence to.

10. Click on Send to send evidence to Case center.

11. Click on Send & Close to send the Evidence to case center and close the App screen and take the user back to case details page.



12. In Case Detail Page user can also send multiple evidence to case center by using multi select option in evidence screen.

13. Select Individual Evidence one by one.

14. On the top bar click on Send to Case center option to send the selected evidence to case center.



15. Once user select the section as mentioned in point 9 and click send then on each evidence a tag appears “Exporting %” with the uploading progress.

16. Once evidence is successfully sent to Thomson Reuters Case Center then Tag changes to “Sent to Case Center”.
