Studio Space UI/UX Improvements  

We are thrilled to announce significant enhancements to Studio Space based on valuable user feedback. With meticulous attention to detail, we have fine-tuned every aspect to deliver a smoother and more seamless performance. This latest release focuses on improving the overall user experience and optimizing the functionality of Studio Space.


Sprint 281 introduces an improved Redaction Tool experience with more exciting updates on the horizon! With consistent theme colors in the mosaic screen, customization becomes visually pleasing. Redaction settings are simplified through a single modal, making it intuitive to customize. Additionally, users can now open media in a new tab, enabling multitasking and boosting productivity. The objects merge modal maintains a cohesive interface, while transcript search and filtering are enhanced for easy segment selection. 



 Bugs Fixes, and Improvements

Prepare yourself for an exciting and enhanced user journey that promises a seamless and exhilarating experience. Our team has diligently worked to address reported issues and implement key enhancements, ensuring an elevated user experience.


  • Resolved issue with correct display of quality pane, enabling easy access to essential information while watching videos.
  • Resolved issue with video playback not pausing when dragging and holding the scrubber, providing users with greater control over their viewing experience.
  • Resolve issue: New tenants can now conveniently access the studio space from the overflow menu.
  • Fixed issue: Insights will now be displayed correctly after performing a search, providing valuable information related to your content.
  • Addressed issue: The handouts modal now displays a button in the appropriate style, ensuring a consistent user interface.
  • Contributors now have access to add mashups in DEM, enhancing the digital experiences they create.
  • After logging in, users will now be directed to the correct playback screen when accessing content through deep linking.
  • The redact option will no longer be visible on the top header when selecting a playlist.
  • The mashup rendition will now be properly displayed in evidence info when renditions are shown on the playback page.
  • Optimized process: The network workflow queue Id call for a private blob of size 87.3MB now executes much faster, reducing the overall waiting time from 1.8 minutes.
  • When submitting a mashup for redaction on a private blob, the thumbnails were not displayed after the redaction process. We have fixed this issue, and thumbnails will now be correctly shown after the redaction of a mashup on a private blob.
