It offers a one-stop solution for data-driven businesses that are in need to make processes simpler and efficient with the help of dynamic solutions.

Understanding VIDIZMO Accounts

An Account, or Parent Portal, is a centralized portal for your organization where an administrator can carry out Account-level actions. These actions include setting up different Portals or configuring Enterprise Content Delivery Networks (ECDN).

VIDIZMO creates two types of Accounts:

  • Paid Account: This is a fully functional and licensed Account based on the type of package purchased.
  • Trial Account: Account provided on a limited trial to test drive VIDIZMO features.

Understanding VIDIZMO Portals

Portals are created for the segregation, categorization, and organization of digital media content. For instance, a large-scale enterprise has several departments for whom they can create separate Portals. This will assist them in segregating content, ensuring that their sensitive data (videos, audios, images, documents, etc.) is not accessed by unauthorized users.

VIDIZMO’s multi-tenant video platform enables customers to run multiple virtual portals with one deployment instance. Hence, you can create multiple autonomous portals under one Primary Account. The number of Portals you can create depend on the VIDIZMO package you have acquired.

Note: Portal cannot be segregated into a sub-portal and the Portal Settings are governed on the Account level.

The Portals created under your Account can be viewed on your homepage under the Portals dropdown, or the featured portals section. You can choose Portals to feature on your Account's homepage from Portal Settings, visit How to Feature a Portal on Homepage to learn about the procedure.

Here’s how VIDIZMO displays multiple portals for a single account.

User Roles in Accounts and Portals:

The operations or actions that a user can perform on a Portal depends on their user role. Users with the Administrator role can perform operations that can only be done at the Account level. Administrators can also perform Portal specific functions, but management of individual Portals are left to users with Manager roles. In VIDIZMO, users are assigned a role which determines what they can access and they are allowed to do.
