Overview 

The LTI protocol allows you to integrate your VIDIZMO Portal to a compatible Learning Management System (LMS). VIDIZMO LTI Integration allows you to use your content VIDIZMO Portal, from basic uploads of images or videos to content such as quizzes, to enhance the learning experience or course materials on your LMS environment. The content on your VIDIZMO Portal shared in an LMS course is reflected as it is present in the VIDIZMO Portal. Any changes you make to the VIDIZMO Portal content are reflected in the content that you have added to the LMS course.  


Prerequisite 


Utilizing VIDIZMO Content in an LMS 

Once the integration is complete, you can utilize VIDIZMO Content in an LMS. As a demonstration, we will be adding content to a course in Moodle. 

  1. Go to ‘My Courses’ after logging in with a role that has permissions to edit courses.
  2. Select an already existing course or use the menu (three dots) to create a new one. 


3. While in the selected Course’s screen, click “More” and then select “LTI External Tools."


 
4. Navigate to the LTI App you have configured and enable it via the toggle. 

 


5. Now go back to your Course’s screen and turn on “Edit Mode” at the top right.
6. Under any section click “Add an activity or resource.” 



7. On the modal that opens select the LTI App that has your Portal Name.



8. Click the “Select Content” button to select the content you want to utilize. 



9. Select the content you want to add to the course via the window that opens. You can utilize filters, search and select multiple files. 

10. After you’re done selecting the content you want to add, click the ‘Submit’ button.



11. On the next screen, you will be able to review what VIDIZMO content you have added to the course. You can also determine which activities are graded and which are not. Click “Save and return to course” to continue. 



12. Back on the course screen, you can see the VIDIZMO content you have added to the course as activities. You and your audience (such as the students) can access the material by simply clicking on the title of the activities. 



13. Here we can see how an activity which included a VIDIZMO Quiz is displayed when a user clicks on it on the course screen.
