To use this feature, you simply need to log into your VIDIZMO account and upload your media. From there, you can choose the file you wish to upload, select your desired custom processing options, and initiate the processing. The platform will take care of the rest, delivering your media with your custom processing options applied.
Overview
The automatic processing option can help save time by processing the media without the need for manual intervention. But it is a time taking job and if the video media is long, it can take up to multiple hours to complete the processing job. The ability to select the processing options for each piece of media provides the user with more control and flexibility over their media and can also help them save cost and time.
"Processing settings" refer to the options and configurations that are applied during the processing of a file or data. When uploading files, the processing settings can determine how the uploaded files are handled and stored.
For example, during the upload process, you might have the option to transcode your media or not. These processing settings can impact the quality, size, and accessibility of the uploaded files.
It's a good idea to review and understand the available options before uploading, so that you can make informed decisions about how your files will be processed.
VIDIZMO now gives you the ability to select custom processing settings while uploading your media. You can select if you want to transcode your media or extract AI Insights from your uploaded media. With the new feature, users can choose the option that best suits their needs and requirements for each individual piece of media, providing a more personalized and streamlined experience.

Process Tab on Settings Page
Including a process tab while uploading media along with other tabs can be very useful for giving the user more control over the processing of their media. By allowing the user to select whether they want to transcode their media or not, and whether they want to generate AI insights or not, you can provide a more flexible and customizable experience. Additionally, by giving the user the option to select which AI insights they want to generate for each media item, they can ensure that they are getting the specific insights they need, saving time and resources in the process. This can result in a better user experience and can help increase user satisfaction with your platform. To learn more about other tabs and their functionality click on How to Upload Media
Note: When automatic processing is On for Transcoding or AI Apps, by default, the check boxes will be selected and when automatic processing is Off, the check boxes will not be selected. By using this feature, the user can choose if he wants his content to be processed with the configured settings or do some changes if required.
Insights according to the format selected
The AI insights which can be extracted will depend on the format of the media that you are generating insights for. For example, AI insights generated for video media will likely be different from those generated for audio-based or text-based media.
Combined Insights in Bulk Edit
When generating AI insights for bulk media, the insights will be displayed for all media items, but only the insights that are applicable for a particular format will be extracted. For example, if you are generating AI insights for a bulk of image and videos, the image insights may include information about faces and objects in the image, while the video insights may also include information about speaker recognition. It's important to understand the limitations of the AI tools and the type of insights that can be generated for each format to ensure that you are getting the most relevant and useful insights for your needs.
Settings for Individual Mashups
If you have multiple media in the queue of different format or scenarios, and you want to generate Transcription in one and want to identify faces in other one, you can’t do that in Bulk Edit. To help you in such scenarios, VIDIZMO gives you the ability to select settings for specific media by selecting it & saving settings for it individually. Just like that, if you have multiple media in the Queue, you can select setting for each of the media individually.
Removing Media or Navigating Away from Settings page
When the user is removing any single or all media from settings page, we confirm with the user before starting the processing of the media. Asking the user to confirm their action before starting the processing of the media they selected from the settings page ensures that they are aware of the process that will be initiated and that they intended to initiate it. This helps to avoid any unintended processing and ensures that the user is in control of the process. By confirming the user's intent, we provide a better user experience and increase user trust in the system.
Save & Process Button
When custom uploading is On, processing will not start on your media until Save & Process button is clicked. Keep this in mind that processing will only start for the media which Is selected from the upload queue on Left side. You also have the option to Select All the media and click on Save & Process to start processing all the media in the Queue. When you select the media and click on save & process, that media will be removed from the queue, and you will be directed to Upload page.
Note: Not processing the media means that it will be stored in its original format, which may not be supported by your application. In this case, you will need to process the media first to be able to play it back.
Storing Session to Continue from where you left off.
In case of any unexpected scenario in which your browser or your application suddenly crashed while uploading the media, your session will be maintained and when you again upload any new media, you will be asked that you have some media in queue which needs to be processed.
Navigate to Settings Page using Upload Tray
The upload tray now provides access to the settings page from Edit Settings, allowing you to configure the settings for all the items in the queue or directly upload the content from Upload Evidence/Media.
