Active User is a unique role for VIDIZMO products during a billing month. There are five (5) possible roles for each active user:
Administrators are responsible for managing Account and Channel settings such as Branding, User Management and can also create new Channels. They can upload and manage content in Account, however they do not have rights to upload and management content in a Channel. To manage content in a Channel, they must be added as Managers in the respective Channel to be managed by them
Managers are Channel owners and have complete control over their Channel including uploading, managing content in a channel, creating or scheduling a live or on-demand presentation, embedding and viewing analytics of media, and user management
Moderators help Managers managing content in a Moderators can upload, publish and moderate content. Moderator cannot change Channel Settings or invite new Users to join a Channel.
Contributors can only submit content, also known as User Generated Content which is approved and published by Managers and Moderators. The Manager or Moderator of that channel can also edit or delete the content before publishing
Viewer can view Published Content
Anonymous Users do not require any sign in and therefore do not consume license. However, they can view content published with anonymous viewing rights and consume bandwidth from your plan.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) User & Roles
- Administrator - AI
Administrators are the Account owners or IT Administrators. An Administrator has full control over the software and can access all functionalities such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). They have complete control over Management, Users and Groups Management, Account Settings, Analytics, Control Panel, and Billing Reports. An Administrator also has the permissions to manage Email Templates, Streaming Servers, Audit Logs, Transcoding, Workflow Queue, and Login Settings, etc.
An Administrator is typically an IT Admin responsible for configuration, monitoring, security, and AI of your portal.
- Manager - AI
Managers are typically responsible for regular operations such as managing users, portal settings, monitoring usage via analytics, running Artificial Intelligence (AI) features on videos, etc. They can create, edit, or brand the system as per requirement. Managers have full rights to control and manage: such as publishing and updating details of any, change access permissions, etc. for all users. Moreover, Managers are also responsible for managing User Registrations, can moderate comments, and running Artificial Intelligence features such as facial recognition and more on content that is uploaded.
Managers have access to the portal, Users and Groups, Portal Settings, Artificial Intelligence features, Analytics, and Control Panel.
- Moderator - AI
A Moderator performs the support role for Managers. They can publish; edit settings and moderate and Comments on a Portal, which are pending approval. However, any or comment submitted by a Moderator or above roles does not require moderation. Moderators have access to Management and Artificial Intelligence features provided by the platform.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) User:
VIDIZMO allows named registered AI users to use VIDIZMO Software Services & Features such as Artificial Intelligence through any web browser interface from any device. Each type of registered AI user is provided with access to a different set of artificial intelligence features.
Redactor User Power
A power user is someone who has redaction as the main part of his or her job. Usually, it is someone whose full-time job is to work with, and a central part of that job is redaction. In general, each Manager (Power) the user gets automated processing of 100 hours of video per month, which is nearly full-time usage.
Redactor User Light
A light user is someone for whom redaction is not the main part of his or her job. Usually, it is someone whose main job is some other tasks, and a part-time job is redaction.
In general, each User (light) gets automated processing of 30 hours of video per month, which is nearly full-time usage for a light user.
